Water. Our most basic human need. We have it. Others do not. Now please watch this short video about water and what Charity: Water is doing.
This is what happens to a village AFTER Charity: Water has built a well.
Why am I telling you all of this? Well because Marshall is making it personal. As you know, our daughter Marlie was adopted from Ethiopia. 76% of Ethiopians do not have access to safe, clean water. Marshall has pledged to raise $2011 through Charity: Water within the next 90 days. That amount will provide clean water for 100 people for 20 years.
The majority of wells being built right now by Charity: Water are in Ethiopia.
But wait! There's more!!! If/when Marshall meets his goal of raising $2011, he will dye his hair electric blue. Yes, you heard that right. And if you're my in-laws, I swear this was his idea, not mine.
So perhaps you don't feel led to donate. Maybe you just want to see him with blue hair. (he already told me I can't donate just so he'll get blue hair) But if you're a visual person, here's a "before" and a potential "after".
Plus, Marshall has a special gift for the person who donates the highest amount. But don't just take my word for it. Even if you don't want to donate, please visit his Charity: Water page and see in his own words why he is doing this.
