Seamus' birthmom Alexa is due to give birth to a baby girl next month. She is in a committed relationship with her boyfriend of 4 years and they plan to raise the baby together.
Our kids know about the soon-to-arrive half sister of Seamus. Seamus and I have talked many times and he loves to ask questions about that baby in Miss Alexa's tummy.
Seamus: "Mama, what kind of baby is in Miss Alexa's tummy?"
Me: "A girl."
Seamus: "No, what KIND of baby?"
Me: "A GIRL."
Seamus: "NO. What KIND of baby?"
Me: "A werewolf."
Seamus: *eye roll* "No, Mama, what KIND of baby?"
Me: "A vampire?"
Seamus: *sigh* "No Mama, will the baby be chocolate like Marlie? vanilla like Haven? or peanut butter like me?"
Me: "Oooooo... I guess the baby will be peanut butter like you."
Seamus: "YAY!!!!!!!! The baby will be peanut butter like me!!!!"
Too cute!
