So my closest friend out here was visiting me the other day. It just so happens she is the mother of both Haven and Marlie's best friends. She now lives an hour away, so we only get together once every month or two for a play date. She doesn't like to email and I don't like to talk on the phone, so that's really our only chance to catch up on each other's lives.
During this most recent get-together I mentioned something about my blog and she replied, "I don't need to read your blog because I know you in real life. Besides, I know what it's like to be a stay-at-home-mom. I don't need to read about it."
Hey... I blog about things OTHER than being a stay-at-home-mom. I blog about... Twilight and Buffy and Harry Potter and bunnies...and Twilight. Never mind. She is probably better off not reading it.
This is the same friend who won't read Twilight and said Robert Pattinson is funny looking.
But someone better tell Marshall to stop reading my blog, because he knows me in real life and STILL reads my blog.
As a little treat for all my readers who visit my blog because you like to read about what it's like to be a stay-at-home-mom... I leave you with a video Marshall shot and edited from our time at the Court House, waiting for Marlie's re-adoption. Give us a camera that takes video and we can make a prison yard-like balcony look fun.
*By the way, in case you missed it, my prom date saw yesterday's post on my Facebook page and had a little something to say about the comments left. I updated the post if you want to see...
