Man I was a beautiful child. So beautiful, it hurts to look at this picture.
Also, apparently I didn't yet have "the rack" that I exhibited in my previous post. Speaking of, when Marshall saw that Twilight-shirt-picture before I posted it yesterday, he made some sort of comment about being so distracted that he couldn't tell what I was holding. And I told him only HE would be that distracted by my tight shirt. Apparently not. Wowsers. Maybe I need to post pictures like that more often. Kidding. I don't need to traumatize my readers anymore than I already have.
So I apologize to those of you who have sensitive eyes and might have been offended by the size of my Dr Pepper jelly belly bottle. It won't happen again.
Nice picture! I'm sure you can't wait for those glasses to come back into style! ;D
ReplyDeleteYou and my mom could have been twins in highschool .. no joke
ReplyDeleteLove the glasses! LOL!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I say if you got 'em, flaunt 'em!
I think you are cute, but a little flat chested back then. (;
ReplyDeleteAwesome. I need to figure out how to scan pics.
ReplyDeleteHOTTIE! Happy New Year and Merry Ethiopian Christmas to the fam! Miss you guys!
ReplyDeleteI had glasses shamefully very similar to those...
ReplyDeleteI also want to say that I love your mother for taking SO many pictures of you in your hey-day. :)
I have equally painfully beautiful pictures of myself. And so you know, I was reading with my 11 year old boy breathing down my neck- and all he noticed were the jelly beans. Honest.
ReplyDeleteLOL! Aww, anyone who can't deal with the Dr. Pepper Jellybeans has issues. (Most likely envy.) *grin* And now I have to go find a horrifying, I mean, cute pic of me around the same age... I think I have the same glasses. ;)
ReplyDeleteHow cute were you! Very, that's how! I think I had that shirt. And I think the tininess of the Dr. Pepper bottle added some scale issues into that picture. But girl, you were representin'.
ReplyDeleteyou & I had the same glasses & short hair. we could have been twins, but as the IL king of the nerd herd, I"m not sure you would have wanted to be twinned with me. As for the twilight shirt, keep on rocking. You look fantastic.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure I had those same glasses in the 8th grade!
ReplyDeleteNice picture. I had glasses in pink and black just like those in the 9th grade. I stopped wearing them and didn't get new ones until 6 years ago. Then I stopped wearing those too.
ReplyDeleteI knew my eyesight was going, but I can't even see a border of a picture :-( I'm sure you were gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteYou have Edward in purple on your sidebar...sigh....
OME, that's what I looked like in junior high. Wow. Red hair and glasses and all.
ReplyDeleteYou know... I think I once had those exact same glasses. What were we thinking? :)
ReplyDeleteI had glasses too, but not those ones ;-)
ReplyDeleteMy kids have taken to saying....."is that what is looked like in the 80's mom"........
I was not at all offended by the size of that bottle. It was more like envy.
Your pic brings back memories of my favorite Molly Ringlwald movie back then, "Sixteen Candles".
ReplyDeleteYou just posted this pic so we'd stop staring at your rack. ;)
ReplyDeleteThose glasses we're the thing back then.
Hope that doesn't come back in style. By the way, I had that sssaaaaaaammmmme hair cut.
I also hope that doesn't come back in style.
