No way, you are the QUEEN OF PURPLE! I love it:) I have no lights yet. We've gotten 12 inches of snow in December so far and I just can't talk anyone into helping me!
i love it! i showed my sis, who was visiting and just might be moving down that way, your house on here, and she loved it-it gave her hope their just might be a kindred spirit in cal. for her. :)
You know, this is the first time I've ever seen Christmas lights on a house that didn't have either dead winter foliage surrounding it .. or snow everywhere .. It's very strange, and yet still very pretty =-)
I just wanted to stop by to thank you for visiting my blog today during BATW! That's neat to hear that your mom was raised in Ohio near the Amish as well. What a small world that would be if it was the exact same town as mine.
And I just have to say that your purple lights are simply fabulous! :)
I just knew you were going to have purple lights on your house! How are you neighbors with it! I know there are some weird neighborhood that prohibit funky colors on houses and such. I love it! I love PURPLE!!! Hey... what color is your car/????
You do realize that you are inviting Prince to come knock on your door to talk to you about Jevovah's Witness, right?
Honestly -- I love it! I also love that your husband actually strung the lights for you -- there is no proof that we celebrate Christmas by looking at our house. In fact, it's pretty hard to tell anyone actively lives here (other than by the tire marks from my screeching out the driveway).
I wish you were my neighbor -- me and my three dogs. :)
LOVE the lights! Purple Rules!! Hi there! Visiting from BPOTW. I'm up for a Pretty Neat blogging award, and I made the final cut. Yup, I'm campaigning for votes...please come by and check it out if you have a chance!
Just letting you know that I am no longer the coolest mommy ever because we do not live in a purple house with purple icicle lights. I hope you're happy. ;) It's too bad we don't live close enough to drive by. Yours are much more interesting than anything we've got goin' on in our stuffy neighborhood.
looks great!

ReplyDeleteThat is so AWESOME! We haven't put up any lights or decorations yet. I can't decide if my lack of holiday spirit is the cause or a result.
