Haven turns 9 today. I'm not quite sure how this happened. Time is literally flying, as this boy grows up in front of my eyes. His name fits his sweet personality perfectly. This is one thoughtful and tender-hearted boy. And I couldn't be more proud of him.
His birthday requests are simple: Lunch at Subway, dinner at Olive Garden and playing Xbox 360 with Daddy and then with Mama. I will do my best to assist Haven in annihilating the Empire's Stormtroopers. (or the Rebel Alliance, depending on which side we're on) If you know what I'm talking about, you're a Star Wars geek like us.
We gave Haven the option of a photo shoot with Daddy in a birthday dress like his baby sister had for her birthday, but for some reason he declined our offer. So I decided to pick one of my favorite pictures from his past instead. Maybe he should've taken the birthday dress offer.
you are one sweet mama!! Happy Birthday Haven!! That baby pic is too cute!! Have a great day :)

BAHAHAHAHAHA What a fun picture. Someday when he graduates from high school you can display this:) Moms are free to do that you know.
ReplyDeleteWe always give the kids choices of meals too, and we laughed one year when Chuckie wanted steak and shrimp cooked on the grill by dad. The other two always want pizza.
Good choices Haven!
Happy Birthday Haven! Those were good choices for food for the day. I love Olive Garden. Eat a lot of bread sticks for me!

Happy birthday, dear Haven.
Happy birthday to you!
9?! Ack. How does this happen. My oldest will also be turning 9 this year (in May). And for the life of me, I cannot recall ever having pushed the fast forward button that seems to be controlling his youth.
I hope Haven had a wonderful tree, with gifts from under the purple birthday tree! ;)
Oh those cute lil' "cheeks"!
