Don't hold your breath. Because the Photographer took the day off. Instead of spending his time behind the camera, he just
We had such a great day together that I don't think any of us realized no pictures were being taken. You'll just have to use your imagination.
Marshall did however take two little videos of Seamus and Marlie dancing to one of their favorite songs. "Supermassive Black Hole" (Muse) which is featured in the Twilight movie during the baseball scene. We like to call it "Supermassive Whack-a-Mole" (it really sounds like they're saying that if you think about it). And also known in our house as "The Baseball Song".
Here's Seamus playing with the new awesome pirate ship his birthmom's parents gave him, while dancing to the music. That thing on his forehead is a pirate eye patch. Obviously.
And Marlie dancing. Check out that hip shaking. Shake it baby, don't break it. Don't know where she learned to dance like that. (ignore the laundry in the background)
Yes her pajamas are on backwards. Very effective way of preventing diaper diving when she's in bed thankyouverymuch.
Marlie is SO stinking cute!
ReplyDeleteI love it! Looks like y'all had a great day.
ReplyDeleteOh my cuteness! I love your kids! Girl has got some moves.
ReplyDeleteokay, what is diaper diving?
ReplyDeletelove the music you listen to in your house on Christmas :)
and I saw part of my painting for you on your desk :)
They're so cute! And I might have to download that song since little Miss Amilia clearly thought it was dance music as well! :-)
ReplyDeleteWatch out Byonce...Marlie's coming at ya!
ReplyDeleteSeamus is the most rockinest pirate ever. Tell him to just steer clear of the Indian ocean right now!
Christmas isn't the same without children...continue enjoy them!!
Gosh, you've got CUTE kids!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd good for Marshall. I have to say that. It makes me feel better. Cause I didn't take ANY pictures, either. (there's a saying that if you saw it happen - whatever "it" is - you didn't get the picture.) I wanted to kick back and see it all happenin' this year.
FC's favorite song is #3. Your kids are cute. And don't you just love the mess that all that fun creates?!
ReplyDeleteHysterical!! My 3 yo sings along to it...yikes. Thankfully, her future Kindergarten teacher is a TM!!
ReplyDeleteDiaper diving -- I still remember you writing about her "work of art." LOL
ReplyDeletecute videos - GREAT song... fun family!
Your kids have some dope moooooves!
ReplyDeleteSeamus really got into this dance as well as Marlie! MP was cracking up at the two of them jiving -
ReplyDeleteMarlie could teach Tessa a move or two that's for sure!!! And the funny thing is that just today MP asked me why I never seem to tire of that darn soundtrack. I get sick of things SO quick and annoyed with repetition that he's shocked that it's all I want to hear! :) xoxo
Super cute! And did I hear Seamus say 'beep beep'? That was too cute. Your kids are A-DOR-A-BLE!!!! That Marlie is a cutie shaking her hips. I like how she had the momentary pauses almost like they were planned. LOL
ReplyDeletelooks like a serious party at the purple house. Are marlie's pj's purple too? outstanding. I've tried the reverse pj move & it never works b/c of the feet. Might try it again. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteOh My gosh, she is too cute and too good, I think she may have a career path :)
ReplyDeleteSo great! Glad you guys had a very Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteShe's like a little mini belly dancer! Oh, and that is one awesome Pirate Ship. I wish those were around when my boys were small. I took pictures, but only because I got a new camera and wanted to see how they turned out.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I didn't notice the laundry, just the Cmas tree in the background!
Awww, what cuties! And that is SUCH a nice pirate ship. What a great way to spoil them ;) Love the backwards pjs. That's a statement Mister Man makes frequently.
ReplyDeleteFun! I love that song! I remember during the movie thinking "I really have to get the soundtrack." The music was really good.
ReplyDeleteAnd your kids? Darling. Beyond darling.
Those videos are adorable! Love that pirate ship. What a cool toy. And Marlie is an awesome dancer. So cute!
ReplyDeleteYour kids have got some moves!
