Oh man, I was so cool in 9th grade. Back then I thought wearing baggy clothes made you look thinner. Until someone pointed out that wearing bigger clothes makes you look bigger. And I think I was wearing those pants when they said that.
teehee..ok, how bad is this? I was in the mall in the 'big city' on the weekend and saw stirrup pants! yes, stirrup pants! what's next, jelly shoes? ps you DO have great hair. :) the pants,,well...
Seriously, I think you and I could have been identical twins. I had the same outfit, I'm sure of it. Although I was quite a bit chunkier so it looked even MORE voluminous on me. Charming.
Oh yeah, I remember those days of big and baggy. Of course, I was sporting those in my last college days while you were sporting them in your beginning high school days (you young, whippersnapper, you!). Oh the irony - I was wearing my baggiest stuff when I was my skinniest adult self. Stupid, stupid, stupid (hitting self on forehead...).
Of course, nowadays I would welcome high school girls wearing more big and baggy stuff (as opposed to the NOT so big & baggy "fashion" of today) sigh.
I think I had the same jeans and my hair was definately somewhat the same back then too!!! What a great time we had...at that age!!! :) LOVE your page...
Oooo, are those the jeans that had the tops that folded down a little like a dress shirt kind of thing? If so, I had those pants, too. And I soooooo believed that they made you look thinner. I was soooooo wrong!
I would have been so freakin jealous of you back then cuz you really had "the look" girl! Wooo whooo! Did you have a banana clip for your hair too? BTW, you know your high techness always blows me away!
that is awesome! I LOVE your hair...man you are blessed with great hair!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure I had that same outfit.

Oh, Julie. I need this today more than any other - :( waaaaaaaaaa!
ReplyDeleteLol, I think I had those pants in darker denim. You really resemble Haven in this picture. Love your Wacky Wednesdays.

ReplyDeleteNice pants. I think I owned some like that...and I KNOW I owned some "hammer pants". You know loose, baggy like MC Hammer's. Oh my.
ReplyDeleteAnd then of course we always folded the bottoms so it distorted your figure even more.

ReplyDeleteI had pants like that, too. I kept wearing baggy clothes way even after it became unfashionable for some reason. I don't know why.
ReplyDeleteOk miss techie... how'd you add those cute little share icons on the bottom of your posts?? Fess up!
ReplyDeleteMy Fairy Blogmother (Darcy from Graphically Designing) added them for me yesterday. Cool, huh? I'm all high tech now!

ReplyDeleteOMG - we must be around the same age - I think I had the same outfit and hair!
ReplyDeleteI owned those pants. And another pair like them that folded over at the waist. And another with those same buttons at the ankles. I was stylin...
