Off We Go!
It’s that time of year again.... time for us to take our annual family vacation to Yosemite. Well, technically this will only be our third time, but we plan to make it a yearly event as our children grow.
We’re leaving tomorrow morning, very, very early in the morning. Cause for some reason those are the vacation rules. When you go on vacation, you must get up very early in the morning. I didn’t make the rules, but I’d like to have a word with the person who did. I am not a morning person. But neither is the rest of the family, so it should be a SUPER FUN drive there.
We will be spending six glorious days inside Yosemite National Park. And sure we are camping. If you consider sleeping in a bed that’s not your own “camping”. I do. But let’s not get too crazy... I will be bringing my tempur-pedic pillow. But since I’m “roughing it”, I’ll leave the body pillow at home. We will be renting a nice little 3 bedroom, 2 bath house inside the park. Should be a great place to hang out in the evenings after the mosquitos chase us off the trails.
This will be the first time we are going without extended family, and Marshall doesn’t have a photography class this time. So it will be just our little family of 5 exploring the trails together and admiring God’s creation. We can hardly wait.
Thanks to Marshall’s handy dandy computer skills, I can computer-share between our laptop and my desk top computer... which means I can even see the security cam on the desktop of my home computer and spy on our front door and driveway while I’m away from home. Ain’t technology cool?
